Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains how HyperCut ("we"), operated by Outpilot, Copenhagen, Denmark, handles data. Contact: crithitclips@outpilot.eu.
Data we access
- Google / YouTube account data: when you connect a YouTube channel we receive an OAuth token and basic channel information (channel ID and name). We use the scopes
youtube.uploadandyoutube.readonly. - Videos you provide: source videos and the clips HyperCut makes from them.
How we use it
Only to upload the clips you choose to your own channel, schedule them, and show you upload status. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties, except as required by law.
HyperCut's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. HyperCut uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Storage and security
Tokens and files are stored on our own server in the EU (Hetzner, Germany/Finland), encrypted backups, access limited to the operators. Tokens are readable only by the HyperCut application.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect a channel in HyperCut at any time, which deletes its stored token immediately. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Source videos and clips are deleted on request or when the operator deletes the job.
Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing crithitclips@outpilot.eu. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
